Expert ear care across the North East

A small, independent clinic built around one simple idea: every patient deserves time, expertise and care that genuinely improves their hearing health.

Our Audiologist – Mr Nick Gray RHAD BSHAA

I qualified as a Hearing Aid Audiologist in 2007, passing the Hearing Aid Council exams with Merit. I have extensive experience in hearing tests and fitting hearing aids having worked for some of the major hearing specialists. I am trained in, and have been performing ear wax removal by microsuction and/or irrigation in the North East for over 10 years.

I believe the real difference in your ear and hearing care is made by the professional guiding your journey. Every patient has different motivations for improving their hearing and ultimately their quality of life. Being truly independent means I am able to put the needs of my patients above any other consideration and so my approach entails detailed assessments, clear explanations, evidence-based recommendations and if necessary, the tailoring of a bespoke hearing rehabilitation program that is as unique as the patient I am treating.

The clinic is led by Nick Gray, a fully qualified audiologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), with many years of experience in ear care, hearing assessment and rehabilitation.

Private appointments mean shorter waiting times, longer consultations, a wider choice of hearing aids and the convenience of home visits. We also offer same-week appointments for ear wax removal.

Our adult ear care services — hearing aids and ear protection —
are suitable from age 16 upwards. For children with hearing
concerns we recommend an NHS paediatric audiology referral
first.

Wax removal for children aged 7 – 18. Appointments must be
booked by phone, by a responsible adult who must accompany
the child at the appointment.
We follow HCPC standards of conduct and proficiency, infection-control best practice, and current British Society of Audiology guidelines for assessment and rehabilitation.
